The buzzer for your quiz nights
Every phone becomes a buzzer. Host a game, share the 6-digit code or the QR code, and see who buzzed first.
Try it: press BUZZ! when the round opens. Karim, Léa and Emma are the demo game's players.

How it works
-
Host a game
Tap Host game on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. The lobby shows a QR code and a 6-digit join code. Turn on Participate too to buzz as well.
-
Players join
Players scan the QR code, or tap Join game and type the code. A name is all they need, no account.
-
Buzz and score
Each Play again opens a round. The Buzz queue shows who pressed first and how long after the start, to the millisecond. Add or remove points with + and −.
What you get
- A buzz queue in order, with each player's time
- One buzz per player and per round; Play again clears the queue for the next question
- Points with + and −, an exact score when needed, and Reset scores
- A Leaderboard with a podium, live during the game
- Stop game shows the Final results to everyone; they stay under Last game results for 15 days
- Host and play at once, or give control of the game to another player
- No player limit: the demo game runs with 17
- Web, Android and iPhone in the same game
- In English, French, German and Spanish
- No account: a code and a name are enough
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking
- Free
For every quiz
- Quiz nights, at home or at the bar: you read the questions, the phones do the buzzing.
- Music quizzes: the first to buzz names the song.
- Classrooms: students answer from their phones or the class tablets, with no account to create.
- Team events: put the QR code on the meeting room screen and everyone is in.
- Family games: a code to type, a big button to press, grandparents included.

Questions
Does everyone need to install the app?
No. Buzzerelio works in a recent browser at buzzerelio.web.app, for the host and the players. The Android and iPhone apps are there for those who prefer them, and all of them play in the same game.
How many players can join?
There is no set limit. The demo game runs with 17 players.
Is it fair? Who counts as first?
The queue is the order in which the buzzes reach the server, and the time shown is measured from the start of the round. On a slow connection a buzz can arrive a few tenths of a second late: for a tight final, ask everyone onto the same wifi.
Is it free?
Yes. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchase.
